Youth organisations in Sunderland have come together under a new brand identity crafted by the team here at Consult and Design.
Sunderland All Together Consortium (SATC) is a charitable incorporated organisation (CIO) bringing together youth organisations from across Sunderland under a single point of representation with the aim of working together in securing funding opportunities and becoming the single point of information for youth work in Sunderland. SATC currently have a reach of over 18,000 young people through nine organisations, delivering hundreds of activities every week.
As a new organisation SATC required the development of a new brand and stationery, in addition to a website holding page to support successful fundraising activity in early 2019, while also reflecting the position of the organisation in the youth worker market.
“Sunderland All Together wanted to show the scale of their reach, with consortium members engaged with over 18,000 young people across a wide geographical area,” said Kevin Gibson, Lead Designer at Consult and Design.
“The logomark uses triangles of different colours, shapes and sizes, coming together at a centre point inside the shape of the Sunderland area boundary.”
Phase two of the project entailed the development of a content managed website, providing the necessary tools to make it easy for content editors to publish stories highlighting the impact the work of the youth organisations are making in Sunderland.
The overall design was kept modern, clean and crisp, with strong use of imagery to showcase the lives of the children, young people and families SATC are transforming across the city.
Our work positions Sunderland All Together consortium as the expert source of knowledge on the youth work sector in Sunderland, covering information, issues and opportunities for stakeholders such as youth organisations, funders and local authorities.
