Our new website goes online

Our website had for sometime lay un-touched as we pondered over the way to take it into the future. Today sees the launch of our new look, new feel and a number of new features.

A Fresh New Set of Clothes
We’ve gone for a simple look for the site, using easy navigation and keeping content to “quality, not quantity”. We believe most of what we can say to our customers is best said face to face, or at least ear to ear so our focus has been to promote customers to contact us, rather than supplying endless amounts of waffle or detailed information. Our corporate colours remain the same, but we’ve also concentrated on there being lots of white space, and room to breathe.

Drupal Content Management
Since choosing Drupal as our primary content management system for clients a number of years ago, its taken us a while to take it up ourselves, but our new site is 100% Drupal 6. And we love it! All our information can be changed, updated and new content added at any time by anyone in the staff. We’re finally practicing what we preach.

Our Lovely Blog
Like most companies, we don’t have hours each week to spend updating our site, however we do regularly have something to say, and our blog will be the place we’ll say it. We’re also including an RSS feed that will allow customers, as well as site visitors, to keep up with our latest news through their favourite RSS readers. We plan not only to include news about Consult and Design but also to give you our opinions, feedback and information about the world of technology. Click on the familiar RSS icon or visit our feed page in order to join our world.

Facebook and Twitter
We love Twitter, and Facebook is great too. So we now have a Facebook group for friends and clients, as well as a Twitter account that we’ll be Tweeting on every so often. You can join us by clicking on the links on our home page or contact page.
